Traffic delay - Students will take 5:30 bus

Due to some construction and unexpected traffic we are set to arrive at AISB by 5:00.  Students riding a bus will take 5:30 buses.

Leaving Aqua Park

We are leaving on time from the aqua park and set to arrive back at AISB campus at 4:30.

Swimming in Aquapark in Austria

The students are having a blast at the aqua park.  This is the first year since we started the trip to Sopron that the kids can take advantage of the many outdoor options are the Sonnentherme Resort.  They are really enjoying the high dive, trampoline and many waterslides.

We will post our time of departure from the aqua park and update the blog if there are any major delays.

Day 2 - Sopron Fall Trip Recap

The students are all in bed after a very active day 2 in Sopron.

We had nearly perfect weather for our adventures today.  It was sunny and 23 degrees.  Following the days activities we all enjoyed a well-deserved dinner at the Deák Étterem.  After being apart for most of the day the students were excited to meet each other and to be able to share some stories.  Some shared about racing through the national park on a bike while others shared about spotting wildlife like an large egret or the sharp horns of a water buffalo from binoculars.  

After dinner the day ended with a social in the game room.  Students enjoyed games of foosball and 10-pin-bowling while others danced to upbeat music.  While it was a fun day the students seemed happy to return to their rooms and get some rest.  All is quiet here in Sopron---until tomorrow.

Biking and Canoeing

We just finished lunch and now are switching to our afternoon activity.  Those that biked are now heading to canoeing and the canoers will begin a bike ride shortly. 

Ready for bed - Day 1

Following our dinner, we explored the Old Town. Students searched for Pokemon cards while learning about the history of the city.  The rain ended our night a little early, but the kids kept a positive attitude and made the walk back to our hotel in the rain. We are all back in our rooms and are now turning in for the night.

Arrived at University

The students are enjoying a few minutes of free time after unpacking their bags. Right now they are getting ready for dinner and after we'll head out for a scavenger hunt and ice cream in Old Town Sopron.
